Good Reads
I really like this site! Good Reads has a lot to offer in the area of English. I am co-teaching English 10 this year and I especially like the quotes that can be sent to your e-mail daily (quote of the day) from a famous writer who is having a birthday or had a significant event occur on that day in history. I think I could use these as a kick-off type activity or a way to end the class. The quizzes on this site could be useful for an extension or pre-test activity as well!
Thanks for the quick summary of the value of Good Reads. I didn't pick this one, other than to look at what it was, so I didn't take the time to think about how it might be helpful for students!

ReplyDeleteSay, did you create an account and set up some book lists? You need to create a product to share/embed on your blog for others to peruse to complete the activity.
