I think this video would be a great way to help motivate students. Many student struggle with gathering and/or maintaining motivation. This video could be on my site and also used during a lesson to help students increase their motivation.

I think a blog could be very helpful in my classroom and professional life because it is another great way to communicate with parents and students. Furthermore, this interface would be very helpful for students to utilize to connect not only with me, but with classroom materials and resources!

After looking at other blogging sites, I think blogger is the choice for me. I really like the layout of this site and it makes sense to me. I can really see myself using this technology since it is really easy for me to use and navigate. I think that when a student has a chance to use this site they will pick up how to use it quickly and with little difficulties.
The one thing about blogger is, from my experience, you may need a tech training day. I have used tumblr in the past, and it is an easier interface, yet students still struggle with it.
ReplyDeleteYour video is intense! Especially the music. Good job figuring out how to embed it. I'm glad you like Blogger. It's growing on me and I like the ease of having it tied to our school Google accounts. I haven't decided if I'd use it with students yet or if in fact, Tumblr would be an easier interface for students (and teachers).
